మెదక్ లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గం

తెలంగాణ లోని 17 లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గాలలో ఇది ఒకటి. ఈ లోక్‌సభ నియోజక వర్గంలో 7 శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గములు ఉన్నాయి. 2007లో చేయబడిన నియోజకవర్గాల పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ ఫలితంగా ఈ నియోజకవర్గంలో గతంలో సిద్ధిపేట లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గంలో ఉన్న శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గములు అధికంగా కలిశాయి. గతంలో మహామహులు పోటీచేసిన ఘనతను ఈ నియోజకవర్గం కలిగిఉంది. మాజీ ప్రధానమంత్రి ఇందిరా గాంధీతో పాటు మల్లికార్జున్, బాగారెడ్డి వంటి ఉద్ధండులు ఇక్కడి నుంచి గెలుపొందినారు.[1]

2009 ఎన్నికలలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ తరఫున నరేంద్రనాథ్ పోటీ చేసారు.[19] భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ నుండి పటోళ్ళ నిరూప్ రెడ్డి పోటీ చేశారు.[20].తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్ర సమితి తరపున విజయశాంతి పోటీ చేసారు.
