ఈ వ్యాసం భారతదేశంలోని తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న నగర పాలక సంస్థల గురించి వివరిస్తుంది. భారత ప్రభుత్వ శాఖ పరిధిలోని రిజిస్ట్రార్ జనరల్ కార్యాలయం, సెన్సస్ కమిషనర్ నిర్వహించిన 2011 భారత జనాభా గణాంక లెక్కల" ఆధారం ప్రకారంగా ఉంది.తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో మొత్తం 10 జిల్లాల్లో 13 నగరపాలక సంస్థలు ఉన్నాయి. రాష్ట్రంలోని 10 జిల్లా కేంద్రాలకు గాను హైదరాబాదు, హన్మకొండ, కరీంనగర్, ఖమ్మం, నిజామాబాదు ఈ 5 జిల్లా కేంద్రాలు మాత్రమే నగరపాలక సంస్థలుగా ఉన్నాయి.

గమనిక: తెలంగాణ విభజన తరువాత మీర్‌పేట, బండ్లగూడ జాగీర్, బడంగ్‌పేట్, పీర్జాదగూడ, బోడుప్పల్, నిజాంపేట, జవహర్‌నగర్ ఈ ఏడు నగరపాలక సంస్థలు కొత్తగా ఏర్పడ్డాయి.[8]
